Here at Baby Sling Experts, we are serious about baby wearing.  We only sell wrap-around slings because they provide the correct anatomical support for your baby as well as versatility and comfort for you.   While wrap-around slings have a learning curve, they are superior if you are serious about carrying your baby.   However, a cheap wrap-around sling is basically worthless.   The quality of the fabric is crucial in a wrap-around sling.  Cheap fabric will stretch out of shape and will cut into your shoulders.  Some slings we tested were impossible to wear because the fabric stretched so much that no matter how tight we tied the sling, the baby would always up end hanging loosely in a completely different place from where we started, making it very uncomfortable.   

A high quality sling will have a gripping weave, will be soft, and heavy enough for proper support.  The sling will be free from harmful chemicals.  The sling will be beautiful to compliment your wardrobe and not embarrassing to wear.   We have purchased and tested all the wrap-around slings we could find and have selected only the highest quality  to sell.  We base our findings on our own testing and on  research from  the (Oko-test) consumer magazine.
